I shall be relying on my team mates tonight as per usual I suspect. I have registered but am just on the way out to Tesco's in order to stock up for a night of celebration to myself.

As some of you know I changed my career quite late and went back to university when i was 30. I worked full time and studied part time getting an honours degree in Accountancy. I then got a job with Sky and have been sitting my profesionall accountancy exams for the last 3 years. This was okay but I must admit over the last year or so (possibly the time i have been playing poker  Grin)I have found it incredibly hard to focus and get motivated for these exams.

At the ripe age of 39 I have now eventually passed my final exam and no longer have the prospect of using up my holiday's to sit in a library.

The thought of no more exams makes me so happy that anyone can put a beat on me tonight and i won't give a monkey's.

GO LEVERAGE BUT I'LL PROBABLY BE DRUNK BY 8!!

Well done Eck, one of my family members did this course later in life too, she did it part time but in the last year it has rewarded her greatly...enjoy your night.

The shortbread dookers are on top
More by luck than cards on the flop
The play their poker in blinkers
And can be classed as proper stinkers

Team lever are in second place
And Kev has egg on his face
He plays most strong, perfect but sad
But if you believe that you’re bloody mad

Team Silo are third , doing their best
But ripple needs more help from the rest
This team is sliding, cards are all bull
They’ll end up last if they’re not careful

Now the Dogs are sublime, their poker is GREAT
The team is together , working each night at eight
Lock up your daughters tonight, shut the door
And let loose the Dogs Of War

Team Bluffer gives rise to plenty of scope
To see a team that clearly can’t cope
And when it’s all over – the job for Bluffer
Is back to Hollywood as the junior Fluffer

Modaments – now where do I start
With Tightend that genial upstart
He regales his team with stories of old
That get retold, retold and retold

Now OfficePoker with drugs on the shelf
Dispensed with aplomb by the captain himself
They are going to creep down the table
Unless they stay sober enough to be able

King Poker – have not yet moved into top gear
That has something to do with how they appear
They would whinge, even when having a bath
But play poker – you’re having a laugh

The whackers are in steep decline
Losing their stacks most of the time
An important point they need to take
A flush beats a pair for heavens sake

Now Ironside (Mugs to the plebs)
Is packed full of poker celebs
However they need some direction
Their game needs a lethal injection

Northern boys are not at the races
It comes from wearing turnups & braces
They might move up a position or three
But they have to be sober, not out of their tree

Donkaments are by far the strongest team
Supporting the rest from back it would seem
They need to get a grip, firm hand and tight rein
Because the wooden spoon is theirs to claim

Now lets have a good clean fight tonight on Virgin
Lets be civil, polite with good manners, no sin
Keep an eye on the Dogs we will play clean
But I could be lying, you know what I mean

GOOD LUCK ALL
