Tepid - slghtly warm,lukewarm
Lukewarm - moderately warm.tepid

According to THe Tmes English Dictionary
Moderately would definitely have to be regarded as a stronger word than slightly.
I fear we could move towards "is a Jaffa cake a cake or a biscuit" and we do not want to end up there now do we. Doh! too late

According to google tepid is a temperature of 21-27C, lukewarm is 38C. That'll be my new thing learned for today then, glad I got mine out the way early.

Mcvities won a court case defining Jaffa Cakes as cakes a while ago ( there's some sort of tax breaks on cakes as opposed to biscuits i think). The case hinged on the fact that jaffa cakes as with normal cakes go harder as the go off, as opposed to biscuits which go softer.

So legally speaking at least, jaffa cakes ARE cakes.

Interesting stuff huh! (errrrr......)

Yes, my nephew is called Luke, and as he is human, I'd agree with lukewarm being around 38°C, but more specifically 37°C. I don't know anyone called Tepid.

Do you think "Tepid" would be a polish name ?
