I must be sick to keep watching this drivel Cheesy

Last night's final was a classic.

Liv the supposed "professor" makes a straight on the river while Lee already had a flush. Board has 4 diamonds on it and Lee bets 10000. Liv says raise, long pause puts 10000 in and raises 1000. Told by dealer min raise is 10000 goes "oh sh**" and puts 10000 in with tear rolling down. Lee of course picks up on this "tell" Grin and goes allin. Liv has a nervous breakdown and eventually passes.

The real funny stuff was heads up. Player 1 has AK player 2 89 diamonds. Flop AQT. After a bet and a raise its allin and the commentator insists 89 player "needs to hit a Jack to win". Spot the error! Turn comes 6 of diamonds so now 8 or diamond does the trick. Commentator still insists Jack will also win. I was praying for the Jack to hit and see how she explained that one away Cheesy. River was T and player 1 won the £97000. (Deal done to give £2500 to three others Player 2 was outside the deal).

Hate to admit it but thats was the worst poker show that has been on the telly

cheered me up to see Liv crying over a game of poker .. i know that sounds a bit sad but wait till you meet her

If they are going to do something like that again think they should let the teachers give them one to one lessons well before they play there first game

Even at the final when they were ment to trained up some of the play was made me PMSL

So much for the Pro's and there teaching  Shocked

Just goes to show you can only be a teacher as long as you have somethings to teach them ..never tell them everthing   thumbs up

I don't mind there being poker on almost every channel, but when the quality is as bad as that, you have to wonder...

i caught the tail end of this...Vicky Coren is usually far better.....I think the moment when the guy clearly announced raise and both the dealer and tournament director missed it was a real low point of televised poker
