Im planing to take my kids to a theme park in a week or two, which is the best one?
They are tall enough for all the major thrill rides, which is what they want to go on.
Choices are Alton Towers, Drayton Manor and Thorpe Park, or any other suggestions.
Im thinking Thorpe Park, anyone been?
They also do a Fasttrack Ticket too so we can avoid the 3 hour+ cues, although these tickets are much more expensive.

cheers

I couldn't suggest which but I would suggest checking 'thorpe park' on ebay loads of  discount tickets free entry available works out much cheaper if you find the right deal.

If you like roller coasters Thorpe Park has some good ones.  As well as ebay, you can also get cheap tickets on Lastminute.com if you book in advance.

ALTON TOWERS without doubt... Went yesterday, crackin place, always hal price tickets available if you search the auction websites... £16 each me and the girlfriend paid, plus £10 for fast track tickets, including RITA... Went on at least 20 rides and qued no more than 30 mins on any ride, and it was quite busy...

Great day out, so many rides to chose from now that there is much less queues than there used to be...

Alton towers.

I know someone who went yesterday too. They said they didn't queue more than 30mins, mostly not more than 20min, bit quiet due to poor weather and forcast.

I went to thorpe park about 2 months ago and had a blast

It was quiet when me and Lindz went but i'm sure with kids off school the priority queueing will be needed

Depends how old your kiddies are, but they seemed to have most rides for all ages

Cheers for all the replies, Its definatly a choice between Thorpe Park & Alton Towers.
I think Thorpe Park is nearer, so that may sway it.
Anyone ever used these Fasttrack passes, do you literally jump the que?

Cheers

alton towers by a mile....
fast track tickets put u in a separate que up until around 10-15 ppl from front or even straight to front on some rides (at alton towers) this means u skip at least 1-2hrs ques when its busy Smiley well worth it!
