Alton Towers, by a mile. It's the best theme park in Britain.

Take them to Vegas Jas... Rollercoasters at NYNY & Stratosphere, don't know if you'd find anything to do when they're in bed?

Well we ended up going to Thorpe park, and it was excellent.
We splashed out on the Ultimate fastrack passes, which basically meant we could jump the que on all the major rides as many times as we liked, I have to say I think it was well worth the extra £££.
Stealth was awesome, 0 to 80 MPH in under 2 seconds!!!
Highly recomended day out.

York Railway Musuem is a corker, as is the Newbury Steam Museum.

There is an impresive display of Hydraulic Back-Hoe Excavators at JCB, in Rocester (near Alton Towers), & they have some Black Swans on their lake, too.
