I went on the first one for work as I write for WPT magazine. There's a feature about it in our next issue (Joe Sebok cover)
As i said to the sik tilt guys who were there filiming it even if you only take a couple of things away from the course then that will cover the cost in the long run. Also the course reminded me of a lot of things that i'd learnt previously but either forgotten or put to the back of my mind.
Neil Channing's cash lecture is superb and Tom Sambrook's discussion of Tournament Fallacies was thought provaking which, lets face it, is always better than just sitting there nodding.
I'd say the course would suit players who consider themsleves advanced beginners and are looking to take there game to the next stage, the most complicated issues discussed on the course were things like ICM and confidence intervals (standard deviation et al).
The best thing about the course though is that you're with 40 like minded individuals who want to learn, there are also numerous opportunities to speak to instructors one on one. I'm still in touch with some people from the course and I know some of them who went on it clubbed together and are getting lessons for Dr Tom. If you want any more info about specifics PM me.
