City sign Bojinov from Fiorentina.  Very exciting player!

A lot of quality signings but with only a week til kick off they most certainly won't be bedded in.

A great bet to go down!!

I'll take that bet, how much do you want?

I backed us to go down last year before the season started and if that team stayed up there's no way this team will struggle cos last year we were truly awful.

Not confident. Players might need a bit of time to bed down and to meet each other.  Cheesy Plus don't think Sven will know his best side yet.

02/08/07    Elano   Shakhtar Donetsk   £8m
02/08/07   Javier Garrido   Real Sociedad   £1.5m
17/07/07   Deiberson Geovanni   Unattached    Free
14/07/07   Gelson Fernandes   FC Sion    Undisc.
13/07/07   Rolando Bianchi   Reggina   £8.8m
                     Martin Petrov (Atletico Madrid, £4.7m

is this the lot?

Bianchi and Petrov are both very useful. Elano I like a lot. Bojinov looks class.

Geovanni never cut it at Barca or in Greece so I don't know what that is about but I guess he's free and he did ok at Benfica.

Garrido is a decent left back, that's a shrewd buy.

Top half finish for me.
