Is the bet void if they don't get past Catherine Zeta Jones?

Personally I was glad to see that my Gooners avoided Fenerbahce and a trip to Turkey.

Not that I think that Sparta Prague are by any means a foregone conclusion.

Rangers will struggle against most teams at this level

i dont know why celtic fans think there something special, celtic will struggle versus most teams at this level.
scott brown comes in and is instantly your best player, agree?
so by that logic the rest of the squad isnt up to scratch.
i really dont think there is much between rangers and celtic, so i think domestically it will be close.

OK I will rise to the bait

do you really want a bet on that ?

This is the worst rangers team in living memory. Even worse than the jokers from the early 80's which included craig paterson, hugh burns, dave macpherson. Watching the game the other night was like watching football on sky plus when you slow it down. There is no pace in your team. I have seen more mobility in an 80 year old with a zimmer frame. That team the other night PASSED YOU: OFF THE PARK.

I will offer you a bet at even money that the gap at the end of this season will be even greater than last season.

I dont know what the question is, but Kirk Broadfoot and Marcus Da Beasley are not the answer.

quite funny how these threads always end up in a completely biased assesment of Rangers and Celtic..

someone who actually says Damarcus Beasley is not the answer when you are looking for pace obviously has not been paying any attention to the guy playing over the past few years, if Rangers keep him fit and in a bit of form he is a very formidable player and he'll do well for them.

Also, be honest and stop over estimating Celtic and Rangers, they will both struggle in europe as will most teams from small countries where the league isn't up to scratch with the rest in europe (unfortunatly for me this includes my beloved PSV this year. Admittedly Celtics home record in europe is nothing short of remarkable but the are still some way behind the decent teams in Europe and they, like Ajax, PSV, Rangers will always have to rely on getting a decent group which they can progress from.

You watching the same game as the rest of us laz?

And no pace? Beasley, Novo, Burke, Darcheville all have pace and Ive been led to believe Gow has pace also, in pre season we've been breaking up the park very quickly from defence so i dont think lack of pace will be a problem.

If I had a grand Id take your bet Laz, but I dont so I cant
