Over Pair vs one pait on the flop

Hello everybody.

this hand appears in my last cash game head's up.

I played against a classic strong player :

blinds : 0,05 € / 0,10€

before the flop :  (small bind)

I raised to 0,40€, my opponent calls. (during our parts, raising preflop don't means that you have a good hand, but that you want to fightfor a nice pot)

The Flop : 

I "beted" 1€
My Opponent raised to 4€ and after having a lot hesitate, I decided to calll

No move and no interresting cards on the turn and river.

Hopefully, I won this beautifull pot with my Kings, but was it really THE GOOD decision to call ?

Calling the flop with position is probably correct here, but the main decision would come on the turn and river - did your opponent continue betting or did he check?

On the turn (I don't remenber the card but no important changes) I checked or (or I made a blocking bet - don't remenber) so He checked (or he caled)

On the river (I don't remenber the card but no important changes) I checked or (or I made a blocking bet - don't remenber) so He checked (or he caled)

when heads up I reraise this flop again. I definetly won't take him for a jack unless he proves to me he has it on the flop.

And yes the call is good, a fold would have been terrible here.
