Lemmie get this str8......tomatoes that have been left in the sun to dry and shrivel up cost 3 times more than lovely ripe juicy ones?
do they taste good?

I'm not a big tomato fan but sun dried tomatoes are brilliant. Very powerful flavour, almost totally transformed from your average watery tomato. Worth the extra dosh.

Thats what I thought but trotting around Asda today I saw a bottle of the sun dried ones and thought Id gone mad.....I mean why not have 'sun dried bread' or 'sun dried ham' too? |

Sun dried tomatoes are "la creme de la creme" of all tomatoes...seriously they are the ONLY tomatoes you should add to any tomato based recipe.
Bust the budget and put it on your shopping list.
