nice one.  i believed he was innocent too, but god knows how.

read a bit of that article, am i right that he is getting released because he received poor representation in the initial trial? and not cos they now think he is innocent?

Well, I think the grounds of the appeal were that he received inadequate representation during his original trial, which means that the conviction was unsafe. They rely on his conviction to show that he is guilty, he does not have to show that he is innocent.....
