Yeeeah - well done all!!  I think Tikays face excited little face as he rushed over during the GUKPT to show me the mobile message from Chilli -"Jens won her heat" was a great moment - he coudn't have been more excited if the Flying Scotsman had just pulled up outside!  It was really sweet Cheesy

Great result - can't wait to see it on the TV - just doesn't seem right that Ed's not on....

I'd like to add my congratumulations as well.  Great win Bev (you've got to teach Norm how to play one day soon), and excellent to see Jen and Maria getting the silver and bronze.  With Kara on the final table too, that's an excellent showing from the Blonde GirlsTM.

Looking forward to seeing it on telly thumbs up

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post my congrats, I promise I do have a good excuse as it was my birthday the following day and I'm only just resurfacing from a big celebration with a rather sore head and bleary eyes!

First things first.....

MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to Bev!!!! You are a goddess

It was a real thrill to play with and against people with games I have so much respect for (and I have to mention Katharine Hartree and Shelley Rubenstein there as well!) And of course huge congratulations to Jen and Chilli as well - I've never sat at a more enjoyable table. I think the fact that you can clearly see my shirt vibrating with how hard my heart was beating, might be just one of the ways that I can be easily picked out as the outside chance at that final table Wink

I was honored to make the final table with such great players and thoroughly enjoyed myself. They say you have to play with people better than you in order to stretch yourself and your own game and wow, did I ever feel like I had to stretch to compete there!

It would appear that my regular Google search of 'kara scott shirt vibrating' might actually get a result now. Smiley
