Surinder Sunar is OUT - tried to nick some blinds with QT but one of the blinds called with AJ, no improvement on the board.

Willie Tann just doubled up in a fairly extraordinary hand. Michael Muldoon raises it up to 6k preflop and Willie pushes for an additional 9.6k. Muldoon ponders for not nearly as long as he should before calling with his mighty  Two Clubs which is obviously well behind Willie's  . As the board is dealt, Willie looks at Michael and says, honestly confounded as well as delighted, "What are you doing?" Michael can only giggle - looks like that 9.6k was a fairly decent chunk of his stack. Eventually he sighs, "Well, at least they were suited" as the two spades   board offers not enough help and the chips are pushed Willie's way. "Would you like a photo of the man who doubled up Willie Tann?" he says to me. Oops. Seems to be taking it well though. Or hysterically.

Rooks is still on short-stack alert, pushed versus a Rob Garfield utg min-raise and wasn't called.

Chris Bruce made a good call for what looked like almost half his stack when Danny Sampson moved all-in from the small blind, Chris called with , and stayed ahead of the to send him to the rail.

Ian Woodley -- 75,000

Jan Magnus Brevik just doubled up with against David Martin's after the board came three clubs.

Nik Persaud is getting premium hands it seems at least 3 times every round, I think the number of times he's had A-A, K-K, Q-Q, A-K, A-Q or J-J today could be in the thousands. He just knocked out David Martin (we think) with Jacks vs Ace King, rivering quads. We suspect he's the first one over 200k.

Paul Leckey makes it 8k (1k/2k/200 blinds) from the cutoff, Bad Girl makes it 19k, Leckey pushes, and Bad Girl gives the impression she is passing Queens.

It's all action on Planet Persaud. Shortly after rivering quads for probably the chip lead, he ran pocket queens into Jan Magnus Brevik's pocket kings in a 75k pot. Sounds painful, doesn't it? It probably was, although Nik is still doing just fine on about 140k. Please enjoy the assortment of photographs of his ever-changing, but always beautifully arranged, chipstack. And Jan Magnus taking useful tournament advice from his eye drops.

Blinds 1.5k/3k/200 ante
51 left, average 61.6k.

Jim Moult had 22k at the end of the last level, not sure now. Will get a Chris Bruce count shortly.

David Lloyd doubled through Ian Woodley with Jacks against Queens all-in preflop, Lloyd hit a Nine for a gutshot straight on the river.

"What can I do Willie?" said David.

"You can pass," the bracelet winner replied.

Rookie Ben Turnstill's perked up a bit. Sunny Chattha checked a flop for Rookie to move in for 23.5k, eliciting a few comments from the table regarding the cheerful recklessness with which he'd been playing for a while it seems. "I get called, I'll slow down," said he. Sunny eventually folded, showing .

Adam Wilkinson bets 20k on a board; Priyan moves in for about 75k.

"You know I'm not going to be making a move on you," says Adam.

"We've played a lot of poker together," says Priyan, in what is actually somehow quite a heartwarming exchange, "and this is the first time I've ever reraised you. I believe you're massive."

Eventually Wilkinson folds, showing  . The camaraderie continues though, Wilkinson saying he was also holding the  for the inside straight and Priyan admitting to pocket jacks. They could have been in the trenches together. It was beautiful, really.

Just finished a short break.

Rough chip counts:

Sunny Chattha -- 45k
Prian De Mel -- 87k
Adam Stonham -- 60k (Just had to laydown AJ to a re-raise all-in)
Chris Bruce -- 70k ish

David Lloyd raises to 10k, Michael Muldoon makes it 40k, Ian gives it 'the full Woodley' before moving all-in for about 70k, "I wanna win this thing Willie."
David Lloyd passes, Muldoon calls.

Muldoon:

Woodley:

Flop:

"Come on dealer!"

Turn:

River:

Muldoon, "I hoped you might have Ace Queen."

Woodley, "Ace Queen???!!!!!" The force of Ian's reply completely broke my indignation-o-meter.

Lloyd (who passed ), "You wished you did have Ace Queen, you'd have won."

Muldoon, "I feel like I'm freerolling after that flop now, though I did have the best hand preflop with two flush draws."

RookieITB has doubled up to almost 120k through Kevin O'Leary, he bet a Q-J-4 flop with K-Q and then shoved the blank turn and Kevin, who had him on a rag Ace, made the call with 7-7. Another blank on the river and Rooks is a big stack now.

Oh, Well those excellent Blue Square chip counts have rather made my hunting a little redundant since you can very easily see that Burnley John's on 32k and that Mick Jones is OUT. Have to say though that when I was just down there, there appeared to be an empty seat with Andy Booth's number on it - will try to confirm whether he's still hanging in there but it does look a bit like he is also OUT.

Jon Omara is OUT.

Kevin O'Leary raised to 8k, Bad Girl reraised all in for about 30k and Jon called all in.

Bad Girl -

Jon Omara - pocket eights

Kevin O'Leary apparently folded AJ.

An ace on the flop and Omara is gone. He shrugs - "it was an 80 grand pot". What's a man to do?

Chris Bruce is on less than 25k and is either sleeping or praying.
