One man who was perhaps hoping (in a nice way) that the Scandinavian would depart is the dapperly attired Jonathan 'Toast' Butters who would have climbed another rung on the ladder of 'loaaaaadsa money'.

Didn't know Jeremy Beadle made the final table.

The players are currently on a well-deserved break.

That's not him, although we'd need to see both hands to prove it.

Adam Stoneham is OUT and becomes the 8th place finisher winning £9,400

With Alan Vinson making it 60k pre-flop, Adam decided to move all-in with and was quickly called by Alan and his .

The Flop was a nasty one for the young Londonder, the first card out being the .

The two spades and that followed were of no use leaving Adam about as happy as a penguin in a microwave.

Warren raises to 50k, Tony calls. 4s-Jh-6h. Tony moves in, Warren passes.

Jan Magnus raises to 47k, Butters cliks fingers in a most theatrical manner, it's hot beard-on-beard action, but the hairy face bows to the little goatee and he folds, letting Jan Magnus take it.

After the dramatic loss of Mr Stoneman, we've encountered another dry patch of raise fold fold fold play, but you've been as patient as a millipede having a pedicure, so fingers crossed that we can send some action packed drama that would make Shakespeare weep your way very shortly.

Alan Vinson took his turn to pop in a pre-flop raise, but this time it was called in two spots, Jan Magnus and Warren both eager to play a Flop.

However, as the Flop was dealt, Warren's 180k bet after the other two players had checked was enough to take the pot down.

Meanwhile, I tried to send Dana this picture of her, but then realised that she couldn't see it because of her lack of Internet connection, so I shall keep it here for safe keeping:

Straight from the horse's mouth:

"Jan Magnus button raises to 50k, BB Alan calls. , check check. Turn three diamonds - check, check. River - - check check. Jan shows pocket fours Alan wins with ."

Just to clarify, I'm by no means calling Dana a horse.

If anything, I'm the only stallion in this team.

Tony Ringe is OUT and becomes the 7th place finisher winning £12,550

The update team suddenly erupting into action as if someone had announced din dins, but alas it wasn't a meal ticket being wafted in front of their pekish faces, but the thrill of an all-in from today's final. After Ian Herbert had raised to 80k, Tony moved in for 184k and received a call resulting in a highly exciting on-their-backs (the cards, not them) encounter.

Ian =

Tony =

Flop =

The frustrating lack of a lady results in our 7th departure, Tony joining Ben and Adam on that angry 150 mph drive home.

Now 6-handed, we manage to prise out a flop, Dave and Warren being treated to a Two Diamonds board.

First out of the block is Dave who bets 30k, swiftly called by Warren.

The Turn comes the and Dave pulls another trigger, this time 60k, and again, Warren makes the call.

They both slow down on the River though allowing Warren to take the pot with his T-4.

Was this worth a cheeky bet on the River, or is it too risky?
