wow...this is amazing. First of all..why did he check the King high flush?

Secondly, lead out with your set on the flop against a raiser preflop...Leading out with it against a preflop raiser is a much better play than checking it is.

indeed..yet you didn't get anything for it on the flop, did you? You only started betting when you could have been behind when the flush was out. betting out with your set disguises the strenght of your hand much more than checking with it. Yes in this case you would have got done on the river but 9 out of ten times you won't and you would get paid quite nicely.
