I'm curious (for business reasons really) as to how many runners this will get.

It's way off the beaten (poker) track, & a bloody long way for most of us, set against that, the GUKPT is a stunning success, & a big "draw" for players.

So what's your estimate of "how many"?

I assume Blue Square automatically generate a number of seats via Online Qualifuiers? - 10, 30, 100?

Lastly, who is playing, that you are aware of.

I only know of Thewy so far, but I'm sure we could add quite a few to the list.

Thinking caps on, & add any names to this thread please.

As I am from Plymouth I am bound to say that I am sure it will sell out. It is no further from London than Manchester and takes just as long to get here. I am sure it will be a huge success. The Golden Sands in Torquay looks like it will sell out and that is with Leeds competing with it. There are a lot of on line players in the south west and we have a thriving series of cash games. As for the well known names then I admit I dont know but I see no reason why players would not want to come as they travel much further for other events.....and yes we have an airport Smiley  If anyone needs any hotel advice etcthen I will try and help

if i had a pound for everytime someone asked me "you're not from round here are you?" i wouldn't be sat in work now!! Cheesy

couldn't beat it for being relaxed and laid back - only downside being i couldn't drive at the time and walking round (especially when i was job hunting) was nigh on impossible!! Sad

I will be playing if

A: I win a seat.

B: I have an exceptionally good month online.

C: I get sponsored.

D: I become the plaything of a wealthy spinster. (Are you listening Ding?)

OI!! Boys. boys, boys

How dare you - at least do the decent thing and have this conversation where my ex can hear it - not on a forum he never visits!!!

Whats the point in reminding him what an idiot he was if he can't hear it???

His phone number is......

Red - I love you - but hate the word spinster, Tikay - sharing the buffet at Luton does not make us an item - and Andrew T - lets just get married so my name can be Mrs Tracey Tracey.
