There's a £1000 price on the Eggheads', er, heads, which rolls over for every show they're unbeaten. It was explained to us that, in order to get a genuine reaction from us on screen, they don't tell us what the current prize is until the actual part on the show where Dermot tells us. At the end of the run in May, it was up to £40,000, but if they've been beaten since then it will be a lot less. |

The Eggheads won again today (on TV - no idea when that was recorded). Over £40K at the moment, unless someone has won between then and when we get on this Thursday.
