I think Iron's point is that it would be quite refreshing if the Organisers showed a little creativity in their Fessie scheduling.

I'm musing on going to the Aviation Club in Paris in October for what is, to be fair, called the "Hold 'Em Series", held over 9 days. It begins with a €250, followed by a €500, & climaxes with a €3,000 Main Event. In between, there is this masterpiece of Event Scheduling.

Monday 1st October, 8pm, €1,000 Double Chance No Limit Hold 'Em Freezeout.

Tuesday 2nd October, 8pm, €1,000 Double Chance No Limit Hold 'Em Freezeout.

Wednesday 3rd October, 8pm, €1,000 Double Chance No Limit Hold 'Em Freezeout.

Thursday 4th October, 8pm, €1,000 Double Chance No Limit Hold 'Em Freezeout.

Vive la France!

Im going grandad, added value all round.

the added value is at the bar

We always used to run an Omaha comp in Blackpool when I was there. Had some very good turnouts for it. Plus with it being on a Friday it gave everyone a break from No Limit and even a break from Poker, if anyone really wanted one. They could go on the lash in town. I was at the last lash. And I'm sure many Gents enjoyed it immensly.

TK is right..Omaha shouldn't be a re-buy game..but a nice freezeout is always welcome. Well done to all those scheduling them (a bit of triple draw 2-7 low ball even maybe..somewhere?

lowball is pretty good, surprised to see so little of it.
I'm surprised to see the predominance of NLHE for cash, it can get bloody tedious.

I'd love to see more Hellkat time-based tournaments, they add a welcome twist. And a lot of panic.
