the 1 i got was £100 knocked off it i took out a free years subscription to ITV digital which i did
ITV digital went bust after about 11 months (so that shows you how old it is

i am wanting one with a nice screen that i dont need to squint at and preferably weighing less that the 5 tonne this one weighs

i did a ton of research a year or so ago and ended up getting this which I have been very happy with.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/JVC-LT-32DX7BJ-Widescreen-Ready-Freeview/dp/B000ETT05I

cost me the GF £850 at the time Smiley

the best place I found to learn this stuff is here

http://www.avforums.com/forums/index.php

let us know what you get as I'm gonna need to get another telly pretty soon and I'm sure things have moved on a lot since last year.

btw it took me a while to set up the picture and the sound properly. You will prob need to do this whatever you buy. The AV forum is great for that sort of thing. You really should spend some time there.

If you have the room, I'd still go for a CRT TV if I was looking for one in the £500-£750 region.

The quality is far better than the LCD screens, but obviously they take up a lot more room.
