Annoying techy problem.....

This arfo, my computer hiccupped and said "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close".

Fair enough have seen that before when i have over loaded the computer but when i reopened IE i noticed it had deleted all my cookies as i had to sign in fresh to everything.

BUT that was easily sorted, the annoying problem is ive gone now to watch some family guy on alluc.or but it wont load up any of the videoes. It just does the same thing no matter on what site i try to watch vids. I have screen grabbed the box where the video should be playing and it has that symbol top left which ive seen before.

Does anyone know if i have to d/l some add-on/plug in again for the video player to function properly, has really pissed meoff as i always watch some shows when dozing off!

I dont know much about pc's but I usually try system restore and hope that fixes it. If not type in abbreviated problem into google and see what they say on the various techy  forums.

First things first, try restarting the comp. Generally tends to help.

If that doesnt work, try copy n pasting the links into windows media player: right click to the left of "now playing" then file --> open URL and paste in there.

Dunno what to do if these dont work.

google adobe flash player and shockwave player, install both.
If no luck then google java and install that.
