Wife has just come back from America and has brought the kids an American PS2 with loads of games as they were dirt cheap over there.
I nipped out and got a US to English plug however the games are working in black and white, tried two TV's one only a few years old.
Thought it was a setting on the PS2 that I would have to change ie. NTSC to PAL. However can find no such option.
Therefore is it a setting on the tele? If so what do I need to do?
All help appreciated.
Posted on here before I started searching other forums as convinced someone will be able to fix it for me..

this might sound stupid but a few years ago, my ps2 went black and white and i coudlnt work out why...then i noticed that the wire connecting it to my tv wasn't fully inserted into the ps2....and when i pushed it fully in it worked fine and went techno. Might not be the reason but worth a try .....

Also, my tele has like for example AV1 and AV1/S where the S is a black and white.  If I press the AV button again (have them on the colour buttons on the controller - Red, Green, Yellow, Blue) then it changes to either colour or B&W, whichever it's not on.

Jacks in firmly tried it on two tele's and then put into a scart convertor and used the scart socket, still B&W.
Four AV channels only one seams to be tuned in for picking it up. Going to try it on an LCD TV in the kitchen in a minute.
Thx for the suggestions.
