I game out of the gates quick scoring almost 7 an over vs KBOTW.

First bowling change has screwed me to the floor and RR down to 4.5.

Need another 100 runs at least for my bowlers to have a chance.

Its looking evenly poised at the minute, you made good start and my spinners curtailed your run rate but a few good overs have picked it back up.  I wouldn't want to be chasing much over 250 on this pitch.

A collapse of English Football proportions.

Was hoping I would not have to rely on my bowling.

Yeah my opening bowler who got bashed about early on redeemed himself with 4-14 in his second spell.  I only bat to 6 though today so its far from over.

My batsmen got off to a flying start chasing divaflava's 231-4.   I'm 8-2 after 2 overs!

End of Over 25: 108-4, runrate=4.32, reqrunrate=4.12 (210-10)
Anjum 3-0-17-0
Harris* 48 (58 balls)
Tau 1 (1 balls)

Nakor one wicket from victory here.  I do however have my best 2 batsmen at the crease.

gg nakor, match was closer than it looks, I hadno batting to come, without that partnership I'd have been well beaten.

And that's the end of the match. SheriffsStars won by 6 wickets.
Gorseybrigg old boys   231-4
SheriffsStars   232-4

GG diva.  Managed to steady the ship and avoid the usual collapse in that situation.

A valiant effort in the field, despite defending a paltry 121, we had ironshire 0-2 and 45-4, they battled through to win easily enough by 5 wickets

Well done to iron for an unbeaten group phase!

Congrats to Wardonkey who knocked off Athletico Foxy's meagre 144 for the loss of.....er.....no wickets!  Cheesy

Not too despondent though as Wardonkey seemed to put out a reasonable team and I did manage my best set of results yet from the reporter.  ( might not be relevant but I'll take any plusses!  )

Still moving in the right direction I believe and certainly these cup games have told me more about the squad than thrashing bots ever will!

So thanks to all my opponents and good luck whoever progresses!

Everyone moves through to the knockout stages of 3 various cups now.

I just need to make the league tables up to date and we'll find out who is playing who.
