An alternative would be to take into account the 4th person in each teams scores across the month to break the tie. Similarly for 5th place if still tied. At least that way you're using the team's efforts rather than individual players.

I think that in the event of a draw the gukpt seat should go to the person who came top of the individual points table, even if they came from another team. Agreed? Good, I'll get me coat and head off to Plymouth. ...
