Hey leave poor Bainn alone -- he played his 5 3 off to perfection

Think you'll find he started it.

My mistake though.  He did double his APAT points in Luton.

Indeed, there is a "Friendly" rivalary betwixt myself and Kybosh, you know, the old "Skill versus Luck argument".

Yes, and I think that you've shown that luck alone isn't sufficient.

That is actually a good come-back, I can only assume your Girlfriend is posting on your behalf.

Doubt it.  I don't have a girlfriend.

Oh, where to start.....

Not sure what you mean?  But if it's where you should start, maybe Harrington on Holdem Volume I would be a good idea.  Certainly can't harm your game.

Most kind of you, may I reciprocate by suggesting you read "Killer Poker No Limit" by John Vorhaus.

It should help you progress from your simple winning style of play my friend.

Happy winning the way I play thanks.

As you wish, but you have to progress beyond waiting for luck to deal those big hands to you, you need to get creative.

You don't win a tournament on luck alone.  Or in your case, you don't win a tournament.

Tis true the comps I have won have not had fantastic press exposure.

You've heard!  LOL - did a hypothetical 'friend' tell you that?

I play cash games rather than tournaments most of the time.  Not that I'd advise you to do the same - you could lose a lot of money playing cash games.

there is a big difference between getting creative and calling off your stack with AQs raising is fine but not once a player is all in

yes you got creative with the 54o you picked the right player on the right day at the right moment to make that play but AQs to a raise and an all in reraise is creative its suicidal

As I explained, the range of hands I have seen that guy play in that situation were beaten by my hand and I was not content to remain at an average stack which equated to about 10 X BB.

as i stated before you forgot about the fact the UTG had raised and was likely if he called to either have you dominated or if he folded one or 2 of your outs thus making it a suicidal play unless you were postive he had a weak ace which he didnt
