Has the forums been tweaked? the design and top bit (banners, links) looks different. Sorry if this has been discussed before.

Yes!

The layout has been tweaked slightly and a few changes made to bring it up to date with the forum software version.

Also added 2 new styles for you to choose from, details are here:

I like the bit at the top but need to get used to it, I feel like I am out without a knickers on..you know the feeling, something missing but just not quite sure what yet.
