2/4 game on laddies i have c600 and other guy has 400 ish

Can only remember basic details but hand wnet as follows

I am in cut off with JJ and raise to 20 preflop
Button calls - no one else left in hand

Flop 68Q - two diamonds i think
I bet 40 ish and he calls

Turn Q

I bet 100 he calls

River J (woohoo)

I bet 100, he reraises to 269 and I call

He has 66 for 666QQ, and I have JJJQQ and he went on about my bad play - I pointed out that 2/3 of money went in when he was behind

Was the abuse justified?

Don't see how he can complain, especially as he's just calling. He'd have more of an arguement had he pushed in but being a calling station is always going to hurt.

Nice payday Smiley

He tried to milk you for as much as he could, and got unlucky on the river.  That's the risk he took.  No - he wasn't right to abuse you, but I guess he was really chastising himself for letting you catch up.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

I gave him more abuse it has to be said - but more because I never complain at the table about bad beats and I pointed out that he only raised when behind and he should look at his own play and would've avoided the river with a raise on turn. H ea lso said aI hit a lucky 2 outer and didn't like it when I pointed out it was a 4 outer lol

just about fishing, being lucky, i'd lose it all etc etc and denying that he played it at all badly - that's all. Just riles me when I basicall y get called a fish by someone who has lost a hand thru thier own play. I take far more bad beats than I ever give and never complain at the time

I get over it by kicking the dog first thing in the morning to make up for any bad beats I get that day

Abuse like this amuses me, the other day i got slagged off for pushing over limper very short (about 3 bb's) in a sng and our limper calls with j10s and loses the race. He then types obscenitys about how a6 is a poor hand, hmmm ok so i have pushed short with a better hand being called by a donk limper with a worst hand and im the fish?Huh???

He hit a two-outer on you and you return the favour by hitting a two-outer on him. You get abuse for getting as lucky as he did. Your oppo's point is ridiculous. By the way you can't fish if you bet....that's just er...playing well.

what was he saying was bad about it?

raise on cut off with JJ - nowt wrong with that

Pot size bet on flop - maybe a wee bit too big a bet but that's nit picking. A continution bet here is perfectly fine

Bet on the turn - For me this is the only really debatable move you made. When he calls your bet on the flop there is a very good chance he either has a Q or he is on a flush draw. So the Q on the turn has to be seen as a scare card by yourself.

All in on the river - This plays itself so nothing wrong there.

So what was he actually saying you did wrong?

He's probably just hacked off that he played it cute and you hit a 2 outer on the river
