I should manage tonight but I move tomorrow and once again Sky Broadband missinformed on regards to moving the braodband over to the new house. So i will endeavour to get dialup for 20 days until Sky can press a button and switch it on. So i may or may not be around quite as much. Not even packed one single item yet, I know i leave the holiday packing to the last min..but this is slighlty different. I wouldn't go with the again really , but we had sky tv hd etc , fitted in feb of this year so am contracted until then. sucks huh..

oooooo I'm just about to change ISP and was about to go with Sky - what probs have you had with them???  I'm currently with freedom2surf on LLU, had nothing but probs since I upgraded to LLU in November.  I'm currently using dial up at the moment as yet again my broadband has gone down and this time it's lasted 5 days.

Back to the Challenge thread though, I'm finding the lateness in able to register for the Virgin tourny's a real pain in the jacksy.  I nearly missed last Thurday's game as I was out before 5 and my meeting ran later than expected. I ended up having to call my mum on the journey back to get her to register for me (I then forgot the tourny password so apologies to Tighty for that bizarre PM you got from TrafficJam).   Is there any way Virgin can extend the registration period???

Bearing in mind there has been the issue of subs playing (should, shouldn't be allowed), it's a bit unreasonable to only give players 3 hours before a tourny to register - some people may not have internet access at work (or like me are mac based so cannot get into the software whilst working) so can't reg before they leave work. A lot of peeps don't even get home until about 7.30 - 8pm ish as it's 2007 and the 9-5 job is not the norm anymore! I can see why having subs on a team would be beneficial in a situation like this where you want to play and may have to miss the first half hour but you can't get to a PC to register for the damn tourny because it's has such a tight registration period - hence having no option but to miss it and incur penalty points for the team  (I'm on a grump, tongue in cheek kind of grump, but a virgin registration period grump nonetheless lol)

Sigh, but then again not all cardrooms are as organised as the blonde cardroom with it's future date tourny listings  Grin
