Incidentally in that previous exit hand. Mickey had A-Q and Scott had Jacks, a good laydown since Julian can only have one of the three big pairs there. I think Barbara will be rueing her call there though.
Thewy -- 400k.

The following hand, Mickey makes a full house with K-Q and makes a milky bet on the river which Ian Cox pays off, he's gone from 53k, back up to 180k now.

Scott quickly checks, Chaz bets 65,000.

Julian adds another 200k and has over 600k, roughly 1/3 of the chips in play.

It's almost as if Julian has a reputation for re-raising with sub-premium hands so no one believes his bets.
Much earlier in the first level, Julian passed 8's on the button to a Mickey Wernick raise to 26k. With both of them then around the 150k mark, there's not much reason to call, he though. What. A. Rock.

The blinds are up to 8k 16k with a running 1k ante now...
Julian raises to 46k, everyone passes and Julian receives a smattering of applause as he rakes in the blinds

And let's not forget what the remaining players are playing for, the world's bluest paperweight.

Ian moves allin from the SB and Julian swiftly passes his BB...
Next hand Ian raises to 37k from the button and finds Julian and Scott both passing, allowing him to pick up the blinds uncontested...
Ian asks wryly "would you beleive three in a row?"
Julian appears to shake his head and Ian passes with a smile but Julian also passes... Scott passes from the small blind and chaz's BB is returned to him with interest...
Julian now raises to 46 and Scott wakes up to move ALLIN!
Julian passes and Scott wins, "tekkin them chips down."

Mickey raises to 55k on the button, taking the blinds down without any turbulence.
Next hand, Mickey raises to 68k this time. Chris passes, Ian passes and Julian also passes, moving Mickey narrowly into 3rd place by a mere 500 chips...
Chaz now riases to 47k, Mickey passes, Chris passes, Ian passes, Julian passes and.....SCOTT...also passes, moving Chaz back into 3rd and Mickey knocked back to 4th. The battle for 3rd place is getting ugly!

Passed round to Scott, who's been fairly inactive really so far, he makes it 40k, the others aren't wanting to get involved. He takes the blinds.
Julian wins the next set of blinds, afterwards Chaz says that he passed Ace Ten, "I'm not sure whether I should play it against you..."
Mickey makes a big raise to 75k from the button, More and Cox surrender the blinds, which crucially gives him 500 more than Chaz Chattha. That chip could make all the difference...
Probably won't though.

Chaz Chattha raises, Chris More moves all-in from the button for 122k. Ian Cox passes in the small blind. Julian Thew calls from the big blind. Chaz dwells, it's roughly 75k more and he's clearly more concerned about Julian's flat-call than the all-in. He passes.
