Your only beaten by 1 hand here, AJ, I think you have to raise the river, up to $38 would be about right I think... I can understand if you flat called, but I think thats a cautious long term play here...

I raise this making it $40-50 to go and i will make a crying call if he pushes. Your only beat by 1 hand and you should get a call from a set or maybe a 2pr enough to justify raising.

Good question.

Evidence for a re-raise: 6-handed, and with a dead blind posted, any decent player is raising pre-flop with AJ.

Evidence against: What can he be re-raising with that isn't AJ, that will call another raise? Only hands I can think of are a slow-played 44 or 22. He could have QT, but he may not call another raise with it.

I'd probably re-raise here because he is only sitting with 50BB. If he was deep-stacked then I'd just call.

Looking at his stats (he only raises 6% of the time 6-handed) and the fact that he's sitting 1/2 stacked (generally indicating a worse-than-average player), would indicate that he may just limp pre with AJ.

I'd just call. Smiley

Coincidentally, here's a very similar hand from this morning where my opponent has exactly the same decision to make.

(Incidentally, his flop and turn play are very poor- it's a perfect board for him to continuation bet on. Why raise with a marginal hand if you're not going to bet it?)

The thing is, to check that flop and turn with KQ (especially with his position) is very, very unlikley.
