Although thoroughly jet lagged I played on the Open last night, in part to force me to stay awake.
Some of my plays were shown including one where I hit a flush. Nick Wealthall looked a bit puzzled when on the river I checked rather than made a bet and he must have been wondering why I had made this move. Probably thinking there was some clever reason behind it. Truth is that i slid the bar to make a raise and then clicked the wrong button, clicking check instead of bet.
Also noticed that Flea and Oatfedgoat made the top 30, so a few Blondes in the money.
It was mentioned that Tikay and I are in the club of two that have won the open from the studios and on the next hand it was mentioned that my playing style was very Tikay like when I went all in with

Lovely chance to double up, but for two diamonds on the flop and a diamond on the river to knock me out in 12th place. Still £255 not a bad result, just trying not to think of the £6,000 for first.  Cheesy

Now where is that picture of a 50p?

Nice win, I went in about 540th, terrible performance, played a stupid AJ out of position and it cost me.
