Just got a new lappy..

Manged to connect to BT home hub, but it sais Unidentified, and Limited Connectivity.. and will not allow me to connect to the Internet..

Anybody else had this problem with Vista, and if so any pointers would be welcome..

Done that.. does nothing still sais the same thing.. might try and turn off internet now that Ironside Luxboxed me out of virgin game on bubble..

where is that box for my 50p, cant even be bothered posting hand even..  with lappy  with poker

Go into the network and sharing centre, then manage network connections. Then right click on LAN and chose properties. Untick the checkbox next to Internet Potocol version 6. Click OK. Restart PC.

So essentially you are turning of IPv6 and sticking with IPv4. I had that problem with a cable modem that didn't like IPv6 on vista a few weeks ago. Hopfully should sort it for you.
