i would have bet bigger on the turn bet to get him off the pot. i wouldnt have started playing with those cards but assuming i do and call, i dont like the flop at all. he might have K Q or a straight already so checking is good id say?

the reason i plyed J9off was cos i had football training in 15mins and was playin 2 more hands then leaving before i was gonna be BB. i just wanted to play a hand before i went out and thought this would prob be my best hand out of the 2 i had left before i had to leave!! prob not the best reason to play the hand but i just wanted some action lol

so would u call river?

I agree.

Also don't do the "I've only got 15 more minutes before i have to go so I'll play two more hands" that will one day cost you your entire stack as you won't be playing your game anymore.

1. Don't play J9 off from early (football training, or not)

2. Bet more on the turn. You WILL be called by flush draws without the correct price.

3. Easy fold on river

(Which is pretty much what everyone else has said!)
