Drama at the final table as in the space of just one or two hands, another all-in is announced, this time Dennis Troake the player with his back firmly stapled to the wall. The man with the sniper gun is Julian Thew, and his ammo looks pretty deadly, a Kings versus Eights encounter sure to propel Jools' stack towards more dizzy heights. However, the poker gods disagreed, and although the 6-A-T-2 board looked relatively harmless, Julian was plunged into the river right at the death, Troake banging the table in an adrenalin pumped moment as the dealer popped out a third Eight.
For the first time in a while, Julian looked slightly taken back, his body sagging in the aftermath. Meanwhile, Troake apologised, maybe for the outdraw, maybe for the outburst, I don't know, and Julian stoically answered, "It's okay."
Next hand!

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

without wanting you to sound like the thewy notts local fan club .
there are other players in the final some chip counts wud be useful mat ashh michael etc
Julian
Thew
175k
quick edit tht
I edited the post because Chili posted under my name by accident.
To be honest, I'd have to echo her sentiment, Julian may be making the reports more because he's involved in a lot more pots than the other players. I didn't even realise that we'd been biased toward Julian and focused on him more than players like Ash and Matt. Apologies if this is the case.
I'm afriad you won't like the following report by Chili though as it involves some hardcore yoyo-ing from Mr Thew.

Sorry for the constant Thew hands but he is literally in every hand, and that is the last 3 hands. The trip 8's beat took him down to the felt to 24k so:
Allin 1) allin with J9, called by Artemis with AQ
Board was 2 2 10 6 9
upto 64k
Allin 2) Tries his luck with AQ gets called by
Ram
Lakha
with AQ - CHOP CHOP
Allin 3) This time its 99 and gets called again by Ram with KJ
Nothing on the board and Julian up to the heights of 130k in 3 hands..
AND Breathe

Its all kicking off, in hand 5 Julian again involved dented
Ram
Lakha
with JJ whilst Lakha was chasing a flush draw.
Next hand Lakha goes all in for his last 25.5k with AQ and
Matt
Tyler
calls from the SB with K 7
Ram doubles up. Still 6 left.
