Tournies with 2 or 3 `day 1s`, ie. GUKPTs - does the player choose which first day they want to play on or do they have a draw that determines this? Just considering playing at the next GUKPT at the Vic, but as they have 3 day 1s it causes problems with planning accomodation.

For big events it's drawn, but I believe people can request a change of Day 1 at some of these events (such as the EPT) - not got a clue about how the GUKPT does it though.

GUKPT. When yu buy your Seat, you are "allocated" your Opening Day. Strictly speaking, seats are allocated in sequence, as sold, i.e., Day 1, Day 2, Day 1, Day 2.

So by astute observation of others who are buying Seats at the Cash-Desk, it's posible to "choose" your day by being in the right sequence in the queue.
