I've been on the hunt trying to find the big stacks but not many around.  I cant see anyone above 50,000 at the moment and only Goodwin and a couple of others near that mark.

Barney Boatman was ponding over the stack of a certain Dennis Plejdrup on his table.  He said "that kid has had AA 8 times and KK 10 times, and thats only the ones we have seen!"  Well their stacks are quite similar, Barny Boatman has 29K and Plejdrup about 27K.  Think Barny is sore about his AA getting busted by said kids AQ.  He found it funny tho, eventually.

Willie Tann is OUT

We shall be playing up to the end of level 8, which will be consistently 8 levels per day.

Talking of Frenchmen living in London, this guy has been one of the chip leaders for most of the tournament, Nicolas Levi, aka The Hat, flailing somewhat of late (although just slightly) with 39,800.

Give him a cane of a couple of broads and he could be the first pimp of poker.

Dave Colclough has just sent Dario Minieri to the rail.  Action was seen after the board had arrived with 2 aces on it.  The cards in front of Dave was  and the marvelous    three diamonds were infront of the pint sized Minieri.  Dave scratches head and stacks.

About an hour previous.

As I made my last jaunt down to the casino, one of the tables I passed was displaying an intriguing flop, two Mateyboys (woooo, Mateyboy squared at last!) all-in with Queens versus Kings and a Poker-Gods-inspired J-Q-K Flop. Two Eights on the Turn and River and the mighty relieved chap to the right of this picture earned himself a timely double up.

If you notice, also pictured is Spaniard Raul Mestre, who I believe was requested earlier on. He's on 6,700.

Meanwhile, news is flooding through that we lost Italian Stallion (no, not Rocky) Luca Pagano not too long ago.

He may have come 2nd in Barcelona, but Snapper Mark Teltscher is a goooooona here on more local shores, his swan song seeing his on an all club flop in all sorts of trouble against . No running miracle cards and the Londoner who once triumphed in this event a few years ago is forced to exit stage left.

snoop if u get a chance can u check Osman Mustanoglu   please m8 ty  love u

From one Turk to another:

"I went out with A-Q, it was the best hand I'd had all day. I only had about 3k, so when I was re-raised all-in I had to call, but he had A-K. I hit my Queen, but he runner runnered a straight."

The Osmanator, who reminds me of the Terminator when he speaks in his broad Turkish accent, is now trying his luck at the cash tables.

ps. Any more messages of male to male affection and I shall be forced to tell your wife of your bicurious habits.

Dave C again has hit the heady heights of the top with more than a fleeting appearance from the lady luck herself.

Blinds are now 200/ 400 with a 50 ante. In the cut off DC raises to 4,100, the BB smooth calls and we see a flop:

 Two Clubs

BB checks and Dave bets 5,500 not before checking how many matey had left. Well matey had 5,400 ontop of the 5.5k and pushed all in.  Slight pain appeared on Dave's face but make the call he did with    .  Matey showed  .  The next 2 cards:

 three clubs

A few "ooohs" from the rail and Dave is left to sheepishly pile up mateys chips.  With 55,000 now he must be chip daddy or there abouts.

Hi guys! Great job as usual!!

Put an eye on spanish player Simon Muñoz.

Simon owns the main poker web in spanish language and he was over 40000 chips in last chipcount.

Byes.

I think I must have a horseshoe in one pocket and a rabbit's foot in the other as I've managed to unearth Simon Munoz, one of the few players requested that is actually sitting in his original seat.

A quietly spoken lad (or so it would seem), he quickly confirmed his identity before informing me of a very playable 44k stack.

I'm afraid I have just learned that Irishman Andrew Dwyer exited just prior to the 30 minute dinner break. You can normally tell when an Irishman is pushing up the poker daises as he'll be propping up the bar just moments later. I did ask him what happened, but my Irish isn't up to scratch so the details are a bit fuzzy. I did make out a clash with Mark Teltscher though with K-J vs. Q-Q on a Jack high flop that took the majority of his chips.
