Commiserations to the Welsh (great game of rugby tho) -- Congrats to the Scots & (Grudgingly) the English. Now its time for the Irish to stand up and be counted. We need to win, score 4 tries, and be 8 points ahead at the end. No pressure then (Argentina have not conceded a try yet) and if we do we play the All-Blacks in Cardiff (ooops but remember Munster in 1978).

Anyway armchair warmed, fridge loaded, dog outside, openers located, starting to lubricate the throat (should be fun on Blonde Bash sat tonight)

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

i am sorry as i normally love to see our celtic brethen do well but unless argentina get atleast a bonus point today scotland will play france who are coming onto there game at the right time in the next round

i would much rather play an argentina side thats just had a hard physical battle with the irish

so i have to say i would prefer it if Ireland didnt progress so Scotland
could have a chance of making the last 4 for the first time in history

Whilst I can understand your feelings Iron -- sing this and we will still be friends

Come the day and come the hour
Come the power and the glory
We have come to answer
Our Country's call
From the four proud provinces of Ireland

Ireland, Ireland
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
We'll answer Ireland's call

From the mighty Glens of Antrim
From the rugged hills of Galway
From the walls of Limerick
And Dublin Bay
From the four proud provinces of Ireland

Ireland, Ireland
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
We'll answer Ireland's call

Hearts of steel
And heads unbowing
Vowing never to be broken
We will fight, until
We can fight no more
From the four proud provinces of Ireland

Ireland, Ireland
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
We'll answer Ireland's call

Credit where credit is due Argentina are playing very well (Irelands try was the first they have conceded) -- but still watch this space 40 mins -- here we go (no more tries for them 3 more from us)
