One for Kinboshi...

Cant see them winning the Grand Final even if they manage to beat Leeds.
They have had an amazing run, Trent Barrett probably man of steel, however
Saints have an extra week to rest and will get most of their boys fit and ready.

If Wigan do win probably the best ever run in by a superleague side.

They have done ridiculous well to win the last 3 games to be fair (St Helens, Bradford and Hull) but i can't see them beating Leeds. I think Leeds will have too much for them especially after the last 3 weeks.

I also think if Leeds win it will make for a close and more competitive final as Leeds seem like the only side that can trouble Saints this year when Saints are actually trying.

Leeds have to be favourites, but it's play-off rugby and anything can happen (as we've seen so far).

I think it'll be a step too far for Wigan though, but I'll be cheering them on.  Wigan will need big games again from Barrett and Richards - as they've been delivering consistently.  But it'll also need some of the less consistent players like Fielden, Leuluai, Hock (who had a good game against Hull) to shine.  Shame Calderwood's out, and will miss him in defence.  The question is, have the last 3 games taken everything out of the players, or can they continue to show this form for one (make that 2 Grin) games?

I thought Leeds lacked a cutting edge against stains - and I hope the likes of Burrow, McGuire and Senior are as lacklustre against us on Friday.

One thing for sure, it won't be dull.

An average game of rugby league is far better than an average game of football (IMHO).  A good game of either is great to watch, but I'd say that a poor rugby league match is far rarer than a poor football match.

Have to agree with you - you get many poor football matches and several poor RU matches too. Would say that League is a consistently better watch than both.

How excited am I about tomorrow night?  It's my bloody wedding anniversary, but the wife's great and knows how important this game is.  We'll do the romantic thing another night Grin

Hope to see a caption similar to this at the end...

Oh no .... misfed into scrum ... Leeds win the ball ... out to Senior who bursts through the Wigan defence... TRY under the sticks.... Stevo: Can you believe it - they just had to play up your jumper Rugby and he goes and chucks the ball to the Leeds Hooker... Eddie : They're luck had to run out sooner or later , what a marvelous run.

Very similar to the end of the game against Hull.  When they ball went through Richards' legs on that last play I nearly had kittens!

My Dad keeps telling me this.  He's a big League fan, watches it all the time.  I really should spend a bit of time watching it.  Not sure I'll get away with it tonight sadly.

I'll be supporting Leeds though, it's my Dads hometown so I can't really go another way Smiley
