This hand came along earlier tonight in the $55 25 k Gtd on Stars. I had been tootling along, playing solid poker - anything remotely loose had not been shown and so I had a tight image (I had lost some show downs with good starting hands too).

Should I have tried a lower initial raise?Huh?

What do u make of his push - and do u call it?? I must say I figured AQ/AJ/A10 or small pp so I figured was ahead getting my chips in.

depends if af the stage of comp and who much better you think the table is of you or other way round

the only had you really want to see here is a smaller pp so i would only call this preflop if i thought the table was better than me and i needed to gamble and get chips
i would be more inclined to call the reraise with AK than JJ

you have to call really. i'd of expected to see AQ at the very least from him considering his stack size and the fact he knows you probably have to call and that it's unlikely your raising to steal with a bet that size.
