yet again NZ fail to deliver in a World Cup.
Two big shocks, heres hoping Scotland can pull off one tomorrow as well.

The ref seemed dodgy in this one though - every mistake seemed to be against NZ. Rugby will cease to be worth watching if the refs don't shape up.

New Zealand got exactly what they deserved!! By far the most talented team and they play some stupidly arrogant rugby in the first half (e.g.carters cross filed kick in his own 22). then when they realised they were in trouble reverted to no risks pick and drive thinking they would just grind the french down.
Feel slightly sorry for any New Zealander tonight as their team have let them down badly again.
didn't think the ref had a bad game at all personally, the obviously biased comments of murray mexted probably didn't help.

Still think South Africa are well ahead of everyone else in terms of performances and talent throughout the side.
Or did you mean far more talented than France? In that case, you're probably very right.

Haven't seen a great deal of SA in the world cup so far, seen them struggle against tonga a bit (was on in the casino so wasn't following too closely). But have watched them play scotland at murrayfiled and wasn't impressed that much. But on form no-one should live with NZ ffs there locks could probably start in the centre for most of the other nations. Just goes to show that you can be the biggest brutes around but if you don't use the space between your ears rugby is a difficult game. Still trying to figure out what Henry had sent them out there to do tbh.

terribly one dimensional stuff from NZ...needed to open it out with 10 to go instead it was pick and gos round the fringes, defended every time

That was a SA reserve side.
I really can't see past SA to win the thing now, probably fairly comfortably. Like England to prove me wrong though

I missed the game, but by all accounts England are to be pulled up for slow-rolling the group stages.

Can't be easy for France defending against 27 phases, knowing that any penalty conceded or break in the line would result in heartbreak.
27 is quite a lot.
