The table I was at had NO space at all to get to it. You had to squeeze through to get to it in the middle of the room. Your table being on the edge had lots of space - and therefore visits from the freebie girls. They didn't bother with our table Sad

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Yeah he took the most money at first we were gonna do an even split because it was close and your man gets called the winner which I would have been happy with.  The long haired dude wanted the prestige of being the winner though which meant another deal had to be made with something to play for.  I ended up with the same amount of money I would have got from the even split which meant I was ok with the deal.  I am surprised who ended up the winner tbh and I don't think he would have won had a deal not been made.

Sounds like a brilliant weekend, sorry I missed it. It's only about 18 months ago that they ran a 390 runner event at the City West Hotel, and that was promoted as tha largest outside of America, bloody hell has that been beaten.

BTW what was the buy-in?
