I see Dave C is in nice shape after the first day's play with about 55k in chips.

Curiously enough sat next to Pete Costa, who has a similar stack.

Yeah Ralph, he texted me last night. He had AA TWICE against Doyle Brunson, ElBlondie lost first time when Doyle caught a straight with J-T, but busted Doyle next time.

By coincidence, I was sat next to Kim Costa in a cash game when the text came through. Kim said "ask him how Pete Costa is getting on, ElBlondie sent me reply text "Pete is OK, he sat next to me". Spooky.....

Thanks Mike.

He is apparently in ok shape with 150,000 - but I have no idea how that relates to average.

He also tells me that a guy from Sheffeild - Asher Derei? - is still there as well, with 140,000.

But Pete Costa busted ouit when his QQ ran into AA.

More later if I hear.

Just one question!

Why is the final table played so long after the first 2 rounds?

Thanks
