Seems to be the day for moving.  While Colchester Kev morphs into Pompey Kev today, I'm also taking up the tenancy on my new flat Smiley  The landlord is still doing bits and pieces to it, but I got him to agree to let me take the tenancy from today so I can start moving stuff over, put up some flatpacks, get the second bedroom Barbiefied etc.  I'll officially 'move in' on Saturday, after we've spoken to our daughter about what is happening, so she can come with me for the first week (after which she'll split her time between me and her dad).

Wish me luck Smiley

Enjoy yourself!

If that's at all possible.

I put my entire CD collection into a suitcase to test this theory, they were both very light.

Good luck Claw.

Nice one,

I like moving in a strange way.  It's nice to declutter the old place and start again in a crisp new place.

All the best with the move, and here's to a great new beginning Smiley

I know what you mean.  I've set myself the challenge of taking no more than six pairs of shoes with me.  Do boots and trainers count as shoes Huh?

Jeeze - why try and make this time as difficult as possible?!   For goodness sake woman take all the shoes you have - on a cold winters night when there's nothing else to do a quick foray through your shoe collection will keep you occupied for hours.......never ever give up your shoes - its ungodly!
