Thought this might be an interesting thread to post....

Some things to consider...

Has anyone learnt anything from anyone over the weekends BB?
Has anyone changed their opinion about anyone over the weekend?
Has this weekend made you change the way you play certain hands?

Be interesting to see if the tournament or side games etc has maybe changed some players.

Has anyone learnt anything from anyone over the weekends BB?

Anyone can win a tournament - learnt that from Kev

Has anyone changed their opinion about anyone over the weekend?

Met him at luton briefly, never really had an opinion of the guy but I know people get a bit wound up by Mango99, have to say I found him an absolute joy this weekend - cheers mate. Maybe a bit misunderstood by some?

Has this weekend made you change the way you play certain hands?

If I can avoid it, I'm never going in ahead again ever!! (FFS Trigger!!!!!) lol

I've learnt that Chilli has a thing about shitting herself when she goes out drinking in Scotland. Huh?Huh?Huh??

I thought KingPoker was a huge fish but now realise he's playing style is an artform.

I've learnt that in a HU match it isn't a good idea to try and bluff someone when they have a full house.

And that Mango is either an idiot or a genius - I have a sneaking suspicion it might even be both Grin

Yes, it was a fairly disturbing revelation from Chili at the table...

Yes, hotels, no matter how crap, are better than sleeping in a car park in a van with the power fused.

Has anyone changed their opinion about anyone over the weekend?

Yes. inthebelly is more rubbish than I thought but he and his are good uns.

Has this weekend made you change the way you play certain hands?

I try to learn something every time I play but I don't think I would have played hands any differently in hindisght.

I thought KP was a fish before the bash.

Now, I think he's a fish who takes ages to get ready and can't manage a whole pizza.

Has anyone learnt anything from anyone over the weekends BB?

Kev taught us that Pineapples, cheese, butter and lager are not yellow

Cheers for the funniest Sunday night conversation ever!!

Oh yes and 10 4 is a power-hand, must be true grandad luckbox Tikay said so.

Has anyone changed their opinion about anyone over the weekend?

Didn't really know anyone much before so not really changed my opinion just was surprised how friendly everyone was - cheers to all.

Has this weekend made you change the way you play certain hands?

Not so much a hand but I do now know that a standard 3 or 4 times BB raise is not considered a large raise amongst local casino regulars so an over-bet is required to isolate hands - I'm not paying 50p but 5 feckin callers

I learnt a lot of new games from Tighty, thanks for a great sit n go.

Has anyone changed their opinion about anyone over the weekend?

Everyone I met were just top people, it was a great pleasure to have a chat with Brendan in the hotel bar.

I now know that calling a re-raise with 74 off is not +EV, even if Tikay assures you it's the right move.
