Ok on a more serious note. My two youngest kids are both autistic and in my personal opinion it was down to the MMR. My son had his menengitis jab at 4 and was EXTREMELY ill and so I refused to let my daughter be vaccinated. I was made to feel like an unfit mother for this choice. Now I read that there will be a mass vaccination for bird flu, presumable the old and children will be first. I for one will not be having my kids vaccinated and I am sure I will have a battle on my hands.

I'm truely sorry to hear that suzanne. It was the scariest week of my life watching a programme about it on TV and then taking my daughter to have the MMR jab a few days later. I looked into having the jabs done separately but it seems as though the government has stopped one of the vaccines coming into the country to put a stop to it. Had a big arguement with the nurse and eventually signed the form to say I agreed to let them do it. Horrible day.
