Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh! I can't do Thursday's next month - although the way I've been playing recently a 50 point penalty would be better than my score.
May try and just play the Tuesdays anyway.

Registering and sitting out wont get you a top 5 at month end. Fair enough - forgot it was the team aspect which made sitting out a viable strategy in the last leaderboard. Though registering and sitting out will mean you avoid the 50 point penalty if you are unable to take part in six games. Maybe it might be best to only open registration on the day of the tournament, to reduce no-shows. As we're seeing in the Tuesday games at the moment tables with half the players sitting out, who don't get blinded out for two and a half hours, are a real pain in the arse. But I still think that the points should be restricted somehow - the difference between 3rd and 4th should matter more than that between 48th and 49th. |
