But seriously, from what I've read homeplug won't work through an electricity meter because of something to do with electrical phases or something (I don't really understand).

Oh, and if you're really paranoid, you can add encryption to your homeplug setup.

Well I won't be using it. I'd rather run a network cable seeing as I have 200m of it.
