So ... the mug rings me on my mobile and says ... "I need help"

I reply .. " I will do my best, but i aint a f***ing psychiatrist"

He says ... "I fancied a drive out for a game of poker, and I am just getting off the eurostar in Paris, I am going to the aviation club, but I have no where to stay, can you put a post on the forum and ask if anyone knows any decent hotels near the casino"


I say " You are  a sick puppy, I will ask for you, but just in case, i hope the seats in your motor recline far enough"

SO  ... Can anyone help the Irish Rover ??

There are hotels just up the slip road next to the casino. Can't remember the names, but they're pretty sound and should have rooms available.

First ever time I played live at the Western, I was driving past Heathrow and was daydreaming about just flying to Vegas for a long weekend Cheesy 

Not sure the missus would have been too pleased with me for that.

gone for a cross border trip to the beer festival

The ideal Hotel for the Aviation is the California Hotel, some 100 metres away, & very nice too. Not sure if they allow Irish Guests though, it's quite posh.

I spoke to Denis last night, & I got the impressiomn he was at The Sportsman, in London. How the elite travel about, eh?
