End of Over 27 (7 runs). Ironshire: 102-1, runrate=3.78 (1st Inn: 80-10)
Trail by 503 runs. (askam11 408-4 dec & 277-10)

i might have trouble making the 500 runs i need

espically as my batsman all get themselve out first thing every morning

this morning it was 8 wickets for 9 runs in 11 overs

tomorrow i expect something similiar

Yay Maximum points for a day and a halfs work.

Only batted the once. Perhaps I'll play a full strength team in the Cup on Sunday.

Not that it will help me.

My opening century maker got out first ball this morning

however the team are carrying on upwards

End of Over 44 (5 runs). Staples015: 210-2, runrate=4.77
Lead by 51 runs. (LewisStars 159-10)
Lawrence   12-1-47-1
Turley*   3 (5 balls)
Mpho   56 (72 balls)
Last Wicket: Ashieq b. Lawrence 104 (FOW: 189/2)

Have set a pretty high declaration to ensure I don't lose. At the current run rate I'll be bowling at them with between 30/40 overs tonight.  With my destructive and in form wicketkeeper to come in at 6, that could be a lot quicker!

The plan worked awesomely

My keeper didnt even get to bat, my no 3 batter ( YP) scored an unbeaten double century, with my worst batter as usual scoring well with an unbeaten century.

That left my team with 38 overs of bowling to do, in which time they took 6 wickets for just 69 runs, meaning this game should be over, and hopefully wrapped up before lunch tomorrow

I faced the non bot, bottom of the league team this week.

Bowled them for 70 something so had to bat today to tie up some income from day 3 - need the money more then the points.

Henry  c. Benyon b. Walcott 184 150 17 4
Casey  c. Nethercott b. Chukwu 277 281 23 4
Dinning  run  out 214 183 23 2
Roe  c. Birkett b. Chukwu 175 147 15 4
Laws  c. Nethercott b. Chukwu 76 85 5 0
Rudi (*) not  out 71 65 7 0
Ibralebbe (+) not  out 61 54 5 2

Kind of explains how come all the rest of teams in the league destroyed my averages.
Just hope my bowlers deliver tomorrow.
And return fixture next week might be fun.

PFL's look ok for the thrasing by Ram on Friday.

Just one wicket to get for the win, however its frustrating

End of Over 48 (Maiden). LewisStars: 71-9, runrate=1.48 (1st Inn: 159-10)
Trail by 372 runs. (Staples015 602-3 dec)
Downes   14-9-7-2
Wilson*   0 (19 balls)
Lawrence   0 (17 balls)
Last Wicket: Bell c. Doyle b. Downes 2 (FOW: 71/9)

6 straight maidens now.. grrr

I won by an innings and 56 runs.  FC is now the priority for me this season as 3rd place in OD league is all but secured (impossible to improve on that).  I'm now 6th in my FC league but have an outside chance of top 4, so getting that 4th position is my aim for the rest of the season.
