just finished watching this and wanted opinions on what happened during this 7 handed sng where top 2 made the final

young danish kid in pot very nervous first live comp limp passes to a raise the BB john hewston now moves allin  BB has JJ
young Danish kid tells the BB he should call   and he does   Hewston is at it with K9 hits the King and doubles through

I agree this is out of order    Andy Black and John Hewston call a ruling and the TD Marty Wilson gives a warning to the player and tells him he cant speak in that way.

A few hands later Hewston fimbles through his chips and goes to raise. Young Danish kid says why dont you make it 12k to play i can call that.
After the hand Hewston calls another ruling and Marty now again agrees and gives the dane his final warning

On Hewstons BB the Dane limps  Andy Black pushes in and Hewston has a needless dwell up  while he is dwelling the Dane says "no" and passes his hand. I dont think he realised Hewston was still in the pot,

Andy Black loses it and calls Marty over again and say Marty he did it again im not going to take this anymore you need to take action
Marty pulls the young Dane off of the table and gives him a 20 min penalty

6 handed with the blinds at 5k-10k and an ave stack of 115k  is this the right penalty for such a crime

Im all for clamping down on speechplay in multiway pots if it affects the 3rd player in the pot but has the Dane actually done much wrong  what penalty would you hand out if any to the player

Dave, have you been on the booze? Found some of that hard to follow. Can you clarify the above quote?

the Dane limp in with    all pass around to Andy Black in the SB who moves in with

Hewston know has a dwell up from the BB with  and has no intention of calling

The Dane now says "No" and goes to pass his cards  i think not realising that Hewston was still in the pot

ruling is called and 20 min penalty given out

If it were accidental it is possibly a little harsh, especially as it is unrelated to his previous crimes. However, if thems are the rules, I guess they have to abide by them, but it's very hard to know what the rules are anywhere these days.

I watched most of it and the Danish Kid was told to not say anything but he kept doing so. Unless your really stupid there is no excuse for his behavior and it seems Mad Marty agreed. I don't think the lad was a saint Sad

I agree he wasnt a saint   I think the first thing he did was majorly out of order but the 2nd and 3rd offences wouldnt of got notice if Hewston and Black hadnt started crying.

To tell someone to make it 12k as a raise when its your big blind is know big deal

Can be a bit nerve racking being on TV. I have sympathy for the kid. Should have been briefed properly before going on air maybe

Personally no. I think they were taking advantage of their status.
