Once put on a hundred partnership with Mark Ramprakash - bowlers for most of the time were Chris Lewis and Gus Fraser. T'was a charity match but boy those guys are competitive!

My name drops all appear to be football related :-

Alex Ferguson (when manager of Aberdeen) - I was a schoolboy signing
Kenny Dalglish (just after move to liverpool from celtic) - sold him a golf ball at the golf course facing my back garden when I was about 12.
Ally McCoist, used to drink in my local hotel (Busby) - about 10 years ago.
Craig Brown (ex Scotland Manager) - piped him in to a new car launch at a motor dealers.
